Happy Crafters Deam Challenge 1 - Garden Girl Stampin`UP! stamp set - Birthday/Easter card

Hi one and all!

Welcome to my first blog here at Creative Therapy Stamps!

This is so exciting, a lot has happened to me lately!

First of all I was a Stampin` UP! customer enjoying all the lovely quality and coordinating craft products they sell. Then I decided to become an independent Stampin` Up! demonstrator as I love the products so much and wanted to enjoy all the benefits of having a job I love. I have to say I'm loving it! I have a lovely team and upline and seriously could not be happier crafting away under the term "working" lol.
My upline set me a design team challenge very soon on, I was a bit scared to say the least however I`m loving learning new things and being around like minded people. To me crafting is therapy hence my blog name, I love it, I find it so relaxing and a lovely expressive outlet for my urge to create!
Free of charge I was posted The Garden girl stamp set, it was lovely to receive exciting mail for a change! I didn`t know what I was getting so when I saw it I fell in love! One it was free ha ha who doesn't love a gift? and two the cutest set of stamps I`ve ever seen!
I immediately though of spring, little chicks, bunnies and a beautiful little girl holding a basket, so many different details, my mind started swirling with ideas!
I am no expert, so I wanted to do something easy peasy anyone could create and tweak, as long as someone gets inspired my work here is done!

What I like about it is the versatility, you can use for Easter, Birthdays, make colouring in sheets for the kids, the possibilities are endless.

There is a variety of products that compliment it beautifully at Stampin` Up! So if you would like to see a catalogue or join my team and the fun then please get in touch.

I`ve used Garden Green card stock and Crushed Curry. You can use any colour combination.
I`ve cut an A4 piece in half, then folded it over and burnished with my bone folder to give a crisp edge!
Then I stamped the background with the flower and bunny stamps but you could use the girl, the grass, the butterfly etc. The choice is yours. Then I`ve taken some Whisper White cardstock and cut it to 4 inches by 2 and a half inches and stamped the largest stamp (the little girl) and then using Whisper White again, I`ve taken my scallop punch and punched out the pretty circle and added my sentiment. Could be Birthday/Easter what ever you want. I`ve finally added a petal passion metal embellishment on a mini glue dot for a lovely finishing touch. You can`t see its glued on as mini dots are just that but these little blighters are as strong as anything.

Its easy to create beautiful projects when you have lovely products to work with. I`ve left the girl for my daughter to colour in but I had to hold myself back lol lool.

Next time Gorgeous box using the Garden Girl Stamp set. So many ideas to share!
